Long-Term Furniture
Nets, lines, and stakes make up the furnishing. The perimeter lines for the beach tennis court dimensions should be two inches wide and colored differently from the playing surface, and the net should be 1.7 meters tall.
Hardware
The authorized balls should be 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) in diameter and weigh between 38 and 40 grams. Beach tennis allows a variety of paddle sizes, although the maximum length and breadth are 21.65 inches (55 cm and 11.81 inches, respectively) and 30 cm, respectively.
Provider and Recipient
The returnee and the server need to be across from one another. At the beginning of the match, a toss determines who serves first. The winner of the toss can serve or receive first.
Additionally, the participants decide what side of the court they want to play from. The player gets one chance to serve and must remain beyond the boundary line. Beach tennis does not have a second serve or service.
Switching Sides
Players must transfer sides after the conclusion of odd games, such as one, three, five, and so on, much as in tennis.
Rating Scheme
Similar to standard tennis, there is a no-advantage rule after deuce. When the ball strikes the floor within the designated court borders or if the opposition makes a mistake like if the ball hits the net, a team or individual gets a point.
There are three scoring systems for beach tennis: best of five sets, best of three sets, and one set. If both players have three points (15, 30, 40), one must score one more point to win.
To win the set, a player must win 7 or 9 games with a lead advantage of at least two games. A tie-break comes into affect after each player scores six or eight games.
Recreation Space
The standard court dimensions for doubles matches are 26.24 feet (8 meters) wide by 52.50 feet (16 meters) long. Beach tennis is a unique sport that individuals may play. The playing surface for singles matches has the same length as for doubles, although it is a few inches narrower at 14.91 feet (4.5 meters) in width.
Initially, players used the same net as beach volleyball, but it changed to 5.6 feet (1.7 meters) to quicken the action.
