Sport Surfaces will start the building of your new cushioned asphalt tennis court:

• We may apply two to three coats of cushion or up to twelve layers for professional play, depending on how soft you want your new cushion surface to be.
• First, we laid an asphalt layer on the ground and then coated it with an acrylic coating.

Note: The cushion surface specifications below are for a typical surface and may vary. (Courts may have anything from two to twelve coats.) Some firms would stop building courts at this point, but we add more cushioning layers to provide a better playing surface.

• The ample cushion layer, the initial cushioning layer, consists of three to nine rubberized coatings.
• Heavy-grade tiny rubber granules are usually applied two or three coats after the previous layer to smooth the surface and offer further cushion protection.
• Acrylic paint is used to produce line striping and court colors.
